John Lennon/BEATLES Ltd Poster 58x40cm Rock n Roll Circus lithographic 1st print Michael Randolph
This Ltd edition poster of John Lennon was shot by renowned Sixties photographer Michael Randolph in 1968 on the set of the Rock and Roll Circus film and has the Lennon quote "Hi there...Don't let the sun go down on me" printed along the bottom margin. It is a guaranteed Faber & Faber 1st and only printing. Although in excellent condition it has some very slight yellowing to the edges.

The posters were published over 20 years ago by Faber & Faber. I managed to secure the remaining unsold copies that were put into storage many years ago so when they are all sold that's it. Frame is not included.

Size 58x40cm - Approx 23"x16" If exact size is crucial please ask before purchase.

For those who don't already know The Rock N Roll Circus film was withdrawn from release in 1968 and remained unseen by the public until 1996. ....The Rock N Roll Circus documents a 1968 performance from rock legends the Rolling Stones, The Who, John Lennon, Eric Clapton and others. Mick Jagger's girlfriend at the time Marianne Faithfull, also performs. The unconventional concert takes place in a carnival style big top setting with the musicians wearing outlandish clothes & costumes. Jagger is the ringmaster and introduces the bands, and a collaborative blues set by John Lennon, Eric Clapton and Stones guitarist Keith Richards.

This poster is in near perfect condition. There is just a slight tinge of yellowing to the edges commensurate with age.
