Issue No 1 was published on the 18th January 1964. By June 8th 1967 it was reduced to a more conventional size. Fabulous 208 was one of the UK's top selling 'teen scene' music magazines of the 1960s. It's larger than average sized pages carried full page colour pin-ups of pop, beat, psychedelic groups and singers alongside TV and film stars of the day. It later changed it's name to Fabulous 208 magazine after a few years & then again to Fab 208 in the 1970's. Regular groups featured were The Beatles, Monkees, Rolling Stones, Hollies, Kinks etc. Many of these magazines were cut up and pinned to bedroom walls by adoring teenagers so complete issues are now sought by music fans.
