Frequently Asked Questions
COVID19 and delivery update. Please understand that there are still delays with many postal and courier services due to Covid and customs etc. This is completely beyond our control. You will receive a tracking number on dispatch but please note that Royal Mail tracking numbers are nothing more than confirmation of dispatch and delivery. Royal Mail tracking does not guarantee updates at every juncture.
Q1: How do I contact someone from Beatchapter?
A: You can use the CONTACT link at the bottom of every page, the message portal seen at the bottom right of your screen or the email address and phone number displayed on our logo above.
Q2: How do I pay?
A: You have several payment options.
You can pay instantly via PayPal or Stripe using our shopping cart.
Or you may prefer to use BACS/Bank transfer: SORT CODE 090666 - ACCOUNT No. 43298001 - SWIFT CODE ABBYGB2L - IBAN: GB01ABBY09066643298001 Name: J Limbert T/A Electric Banana.
It is very risky sending cash therefore not recommended.
Q3: Can you post to a friend or family members address?
A: We are only covered by PayPal protection when we dispatch to the delivery address specified on the PayPal payment. If you have moved since you opened your PayPal account please make sure that your current PayPal delivery address is up-to-date. Requesting your purchase to be sent to a friend, relative, work address etc will void PayPal seller protection policy for both parties. Unless you add the alternative delivery address during the payment process your order may be cancelled and payment refunded.
Q4: How much is overseas shipping & do you offer discounts for multiple items?
A: Overseas postage costs are calculated when you add to cart and select your country. All shipping prices are as charged by Royal Mail.
We do not charge extra for packaging unless you order a single oversized magazine on it's own like Fabulous 208 (issues dated before 1st June 1968 only), All Sunday Times magazines, Observer magazines and Telegraph Magazines which will incur a further cost of... WZ1 Canada/Japan £4.80 WZ2 Australia/New Zealand £5.20 WZ3 USA £9.35
If you buy 2 or more magazines there will be no extra cost. The aforementioned magazines are slightly larger than average sized magazines and can not be dispatched as large letters. Royal Mail consider them "Small Parcels" This extra cost can be also avoided if we ship the item folded in a 25x35cm "Large Letter" envelope like most of our stock. Here's a link to Royal Mail's price calculator so you can keep up-to-date with the prices https://www.royalmail.com/price-finder
