Rave Magazine was a fantastic UK pop magazine that started in 1964. Rave 'was five times as expensive as it's competition but printed on top quality paper with much great content and superb photographs - by Jean Marie Perier, Terry O'Neill, Marc Sharratt etc. Photo shoots were set in places like Portobello Road or Covent Garden, and stars including Jeff Beck & Scott Walker were used to model the latest trendy clothing. Like Fabulous 208, Rave featured many young women writers like Cathy McGowan, Maureen O'Grady and Dawn James. Not just a pop teen mag it also featured rock groups like The Yardbirds, The Byrds, The Who, The Pretty Things & Jimi Hendrix etc.
