Rave Magazine was an UK pop magazine that started in 1964. Rave 'was five times as expensive as it's competition but printed on top quality paper with much great content and superb photographs - by Jean Marie Perier, Terry O'Neill, Marc Sharratt etc. Photo shoots were set in places like Portobello Road or Covent Garden, and stars including Jeff Beck & Scott Walker were used to model the latest trendy clothing. Rave magazine had a great team of young women writers like Cathy McGowan, Maureen O'Grady and Dawn James. Not just a pop teen mag Rave also featured many rock and pop idols of the era and countless beat and pop groups.
