Sunday Times Magazine January 18, 1981

Cover: Marc Riboud
Our cover picture was taken by
Riboud in Lech Walesas flat
in Poland. Riboud was invited
to stay for a bite to eat an
omelette. But just how the
omelette should be prepared
caused a domestic clash
between Walesa and wife.
Riboud filmed the incident and
the kitchen-stove reconciliation
later. The result is an engaging
cameo of life at home with
Polands revolutionary leader.
