    This issue is the regional New York edition and includes the classified ad placed by future Kiss drummer Peter Criss!  

    Peter placed an ad in the Musicians Classified section: " Experienced Rock & Roll drummer looking for original group doing soft & hard music - Peter, Brooklyn"
    After breaking up Wicked Lester, Gene & Paul were in search of a drummer to form a new band.    
    After seeing the classified they placed a call to Peter and the rest is KISStory!

    Superb very early complete issue in VG condition. Has been archive stored folded.

    Founded in California, by Jann Wenner back in 1967 Rolling Stone Magazine delved deep into the music world and frequently tackled political issues. In the first edition 11/9/1967 Wenner wrote that Rolling Stone "is not just about music, but about things & attitudes that the music scene embraces. However it quickly distanced itself from the underground newspapers of the time embracing traditional journalism & avoiding the radical politics championed by the underground press.

    All items are professionally packed in high quality rigid all cardboard mailers. We do not use board backed paper envelopes. Magazines are placed in cellophane bags and then taped inside the mailer to keep it free from corners where damage can occur.
