'Petition We, the undersigned, deplore the recently-announced plans for the redevelopment of Piccadilly Circus and abhor the way in which these plans were drawn up without consultation between the planners and the people of London. We demand a full, open and democratic public enquiry into the future of Piccadilly Circus and insist that the proposed plans be shelved until this public enquiry has been concluded to our satisfaction.
