New Musical Express magazine (later shortened to NME) was first published in 1952 and ran for 66 years. NME magazine covered most musical genre's from 1950s Jazz to Rocknroll, 1960's Beat and Folk,1970's glam, progressive rock, heavy rock, punk, new wave, acid house, grunge, britpop etc eventually ceasing publication in March 2018 when it moved to an online subscription only.
