THURSTON MOORE of Sonic Youth's Root Exhibition programme featuring David Bowie, Merzbow, Bruce Gilbert, Add N To X, Savage Pencil, Stefan Beck, Janine Rook & more. As far as I can remember Thurston Moore the curator of the exhibititon supplied each artist with a random 30 second piece of music. Each artist was instructed to create a visual art piece to go with the 30 second audio clip. A BOX set LP was also released.
